When not editing copy or making pages for TOI Kolkata, where he works as chief copy editor, Subhayu Mazumder is usually to be found in the dusty bylanes of central Kolkata, haunting old record shops, haggling over the price of LPs. At other times hes at home, curled up in a bean bag with a graphic novel, occasionally purring with pleasure. Rock of Ages took root in the blogger’s mind when he saw no reason to bore only his newsroom colleagues with discussions on obscure 1960s jam bands or a spirited qualitative analysis of Bob Dylan’s best albums. It’s time to unleash all that — and much more — on the web. If it’s rock, it’ll find a place on this blog. Watch out!
